Lol another FAIL THREAD from the KING of fail threads .
Why a fail thread?
Cause even when adding NZ >> Rugby league is still most popular sport within the 2 countries

Rugby Union is on its knees in Australia>> it will survive but the game is at record lows.
TV deal says it all>> 275mill compared to the Mighty NRL 2 Billion

NZ RUGBY UNION New Zealand Rugby's total income for the past year was $161m, for the 2016/2017 year>
this has increased due to the LIONS TOUR.

Sorry mate, when I wrote that I was looking at the recent comments and not the actual title of the thread.
Never realised quite how much hate there was for AFL from our Northern friends.

i was going off the headline at the begining of the thread
see below>>
"Using the logic of Rugby League fans and their media, if you include New Zealand and Australia it's abundantly clear that Union rules supreme over League. The Rugby World Cup tv ratings are going to massive. Massive I tell ya when compared with Rugby League.

BTW, is there any place in the world where Rugby League is number one? Certainly not Australia, New Zealand, France, South Africa or England. Tonga perhaps, nah Union rules supreme there too"

Including NZ and AUS (if we are too do that> Rugby League is surpreme easily.
Ratings/crowds/media/sponsors etc League is the standout.. because we are adding AUS

it also states any places where League is not number 1 >> AUS and PNG for starters.
yes FRANCE ENGLAND SOUTH AFRICA NZ Union is number 1

Well I've been in France for the last month and I can tell ya RU is very strong here particularly down south. But the NRL and pommy Superleague are on telly here all the time.

I've seen it in bars in Paris & everywhere I've been. I watched the Challenge Cup final, with Catalans playing, in a packed bar in Carcassone.

Everyone was wearing Catalans colours and they were goin' off. A lot of other bars in the square had the same thing. And Carcassone is 100km from Catalans home town Perpignan.

So whilst RU is big here RL is goin' ok. With good management it will make a comeback in good 'ol France. Vive la France.......oh........and the wine is trebien!!!!
