just a cool 2.7million viewers for the 2 day nines tournament..
This smells like "magic round" accounting.
Tell me one thing ...
If a viewer tuned in to all 15 matches on the Saturday and happened to have oztam box fitted, were they counted once or 15 times?
Don't know pal. But the numbers came from that fella that used to post here with some authority. Wacky or Woopy or something. He's a zealous fumble fan so I think you better check with him if you're not happy with the numbers.

Hope that helps.

More good numbers coming in for the international games. Just under 1M for yesterdays Mens and Womens games. Streaking further ahead as Australia's most watched sport. Well done RL.

The national side! The pinochle of league!
Couldn’t even muster ratings better much better than the Friday night game

Why does someone who's sport has no national side .
Try to take potshots at a sport that does .
Lol
I'd say rampant jealousy .

Some what thanks. I'll check it out.
It does how ever seen to me that it's been counted as 15 programs of one game each rather than one program of 15 games.
Does it seem that way to you too Terry?
You did mention with the games only ruining 20 min how it was going to work out.
What's your feeling on it?

Each game is a Different game
Which means that fans of different teams will watch only some matches .
How did they work the ratings out for afl excretment .
The same way I'd bet .

Here is my post straight after the ratings were put out.

"Pretty good. Every game got better ratings than single Aleague, Super Rugby & most Saturday AFL games.

I'm not sure how it works out overall though as each game only takes about 20 minutes".

So, yes!!!! I explained it exactly as you stated in my usual truthful and factual way.

The point I later made was that the numbers were put out like that by TV Blackbox, Mediaweek, Wackie and others. So there is no other way to state them other than what was published by the usual reputable sources.

The games were quoted and the ratings for each game was given. Looks like you've come runner- up again :thumbleft:

How about you do a flow chart of the day, maybe your right . :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/

Don't get me wrong leaguers. [-X
I honestly thought it was the best version of league I've seen.
The high scoring, heaps of open play and a tonne of running with what seemed to me like allot more foot work.
More like AFL really. =P~
And a vast improvment on 13's.
A shame the games were only 20 min presumably due to player fitness.
Either way, a super short form.imo =D
And this is why Aflx was doomed from the start, as we all know, you can't improve perfection.

But, with viewers possibly being counted up to 28 times (presumably all games were broadcast) I feel its popularity based on the ratings is grossly overstated. [-(

And crap, from what I can tell, looking back at the thread, it seems aflx was rated as a single broadcast.
"Magic round" accounting looks to be a speciality reserved exclusively for RL. [-X

Ah Pal...........you're definition of 'perfection' is ummmmm...........flawed lololololololol!!!!!!!!!!

And as to the ratings: we are only quoting from the official sources as has been repeatedly stated. If you have an issue take it up with mediaweek, TV blackbox, Kevin Perry, Oztam and RegionalTam.

RL folk here just re-post the facts.
