still dont under stand gollun!
the nrlol went from private ownership to a commission and yes came from a low base

in that whole time they have closed the gap of 7 million with the afl!
near fuck all

when the NRLOL closes the gap and does something remotely impressive compared to the AFL get back to us

Wookie, what are figures for non-broadcast revenue?
Dont bother asking me questions, Im just a mug with an opinion that doesnt matter.

But since you have

2018 Nonbroadcast revenues
AFL $387.273m
NRL $167.247m

2012 Non broadcast revenues
AFL $212.276m
NRL $84.105m

2018 Gain
AFL $174.997m (82%)
NRL $83.142m (99%)

NRL bigger percentage increase but from a lower base. In real terms, AFL non broadcast revenue doubled that of the NRL.
How's the Rose lenses filter that one loonies?

And another "less than half" stat.
Add that to..
Less that half the crowds,
Less than half the members,
Less than half a women's comp,
Less than half the male players.

There's a definite trend going on here.
The NRL is clearly less than half the comp of the "world's least popular sport" is.

Millions more people watch our game, what can I say. Our game is more popular!

And not any dribbler can play our game Only highly tuned athletes.

But yes, crowds and memberships do mean somethg. Im not sure what though  Maybe when they give out the medals maybe they should include a category for those trying hard.

Do you mean watch on TV? Please be specific....
Because more than twice as many people watch our game live.

"cough"

was a AFL PRE LIM to a NRL SEMI

NRL look to have rated close to 1.2mill

AFL look to have rated close to 1.9mill

AFL SEMI FINALS rated around 1.1mill to 1.3mill.

AFL and Greater Western Sydney Giants rate better in Sydney on a Saturday arvo than Melbourne Storm in prime time in Melbourne.

Will old Roy write an article bout this? Of course not right?

regards to Quality of games in the Finals between both codes,

That Game last night even know it was in the rain, was a Bore-fest.
real lacking of contest this final series so far from the NRL.

He'd have to admit that the Giants have become more popular in their home market than the Storm are in theirs in less than half the time. (Added to the "less than half" stats)
Going by the ratings.
So, of course he's not.
It astounds me just how many times the NRL are shown to be less that half as good as the "world's least popular sport" at doing something.
Yet, remain Australia's "most popular sport" as we're told.
Puzzling really...... 8-[
