Well,
With Wookies update I've been able to fill the gaps in my graph.

I know a few of you have been hanging for the season projection.
Currently at about 8mil, the AFL lead is projected to be 10mil by seasons end over the NRL.

How's the good ol' girl RL going to bridge this gap.
IS this graph just the H&A Season for the both codes ?

or is it combined everything AFL /everything Rugby league

Neither.
It's a product of this graph Leeroy.

The projection is the moving average X 27(AFL) 29(NRL).
Covering H&A and the finals for both comps I believe.

Make sense?

previous post only included the premiership season and origin.
This included everything - presason, rep fixtures, premiership season, womens origin, aflw.
So what are the real ratings for the season?
Origin is part of our season. Its the reason why we have the best 6 or 7 players out of our matches during this period

Yep one of the major negatives of SOO is poor crowds & poor ratings .
As much as AFL fans try to say otherwise it is part of our season .
They love to point out the negatives continiously .
Yet stamp their feet when you point out the positives .

Toughen up soon!
You have tantrums when regionals aren’t included or appear wrong then ignore that many of the afl regionals are not included

The you tell afl fans they have noting to complain about a when it comes to scheduling yet piss and moan with but buts the weeks after soo

It is what is is
Afl fans have a lot more to complain about than nrlol fans when it comes to the ratings

What the fuck are you on about .
Do you have any comprehension skills at all
Nothing to toughen up about

We accept that SOO affects the season .
It's a big negative .with crowds & ratings .
We also accept that the positives (IMO) outweigh the negatives .
3 of the 5 biggest tv audiences most years .
Often the top rated sporting game of the year .
It's what happens when you have a multi tiered sport .

& I never mentioned regionals .
Where did you pluck that one from ?

You continually rant in reply to me with shit that hasn't been mentioned .
Strawman argument
It's all you have

You're an idiot .
My apologies to all idiots out there lumping this fool with you lot

Origin is not part of the nrl premiership season ? It may be part of the rl season along with test matches and other games, but not part of the nrl premiership season.

Man you want your cake and eat it too. Sure, soo may effect the nrl premiership season but that does not mean it is counted as part of the season. He is also right on that you say scheduling is just tough luck for afl with simultaneous games, so the same argument applies re soo. Don’t want soo impacting the nrl season ratings then play it at the end of the season.

The other thing you go on about is the 7mate thing and remote controls ... yet apparently a game on a Wednesday night (usually) impacts viewing habits in a weekend ? Seriously?

Maybe, but Wednesday night soo still doesn’t add to nrl premiership season ratings? Two different things. Soo is a rating winner for rl no doubt. Can argue against that.

It is definitely part of the ARLC season. All our matches are scheduled around it, all our best players are involved in it. And fan and media attention are squarely centred around it during this period.

Fred you seem to be of the belief that because the AFL only has a club competition in its season everyone else should. Yet you refuse to recognise the 6 or 7 million ratings the Warriors bring into the NRL's club competition each year [-( .

Can you please tell me the exact number of games for each code you used in your latest analysis Wookie??

Thank you in anticipation.
can you collate and do them yourself.

Thanks
But this is what you do Wookie. It is your raison d'etre. You seem to be dragging numbers from anywhere & everywhere all of a sudden. Dare I say it seems to be favouring your pet sport. So it is imperative that the number of games you are pulling these numbers from is known. And only you know what that is. Then we can work out a true average on the numbers you have lately produced.

Also: Why aren't you adding NZ RL numbers? And lets not get into the facile argument 'this is about ratings in Australia.' It is also about ratings for elite competitions & the home markets of their competing clubs.

Thanks pal!!!!
