you havent answered why the AFL can win 21 head to head games in a row but lose the season's total.

Thursday / Friday does not compare popularity of a code..

when one code is different to another code..
RL's internationals dont outrate the AFL so that's basically irrelevant. SOO does but under different circumstance ie prime time on Wednesday
Rugby league just has more tiers of levels it has to offer outside of

Nrlol's match up's of Thursday / Friday..
It has nothing to do with Thursday and Friday given the AFL win public holidays and Saturdays when single game v single game compete.

SOO rates really well but it's a format that we cannot compare. So effectively it's proof that RL's SOO is a very popular format. Is that really relevant when comparing the popularity of both sports? The Olympics is an extremely popular format but no one would ever say swimming or athletics are popular compared to RL and AFL.

The only way to really compare the codes on TV are with similar conditions. The rest just has too many variables

You can only dumb it down so much .
Ok I'll try again .
A supermarket sells 150k bottles of Pepsi a year .
Same supermarket sells 180k bottles of Coke .
When asked ...which is the most popular the manager would say Coke
Because more people buy it .

its not rocket science yet you dumb fucks just can't get your head around it .
Snappy snappy.

What a fucking stupid analogy.

Does the same manager tell you that the pepsi outsells the coke week after week but then there's a couple of big specials throughout the year where diet coke sales go ******, therefore lifting cokes final sales numbers higher?

Nothing wrong with my analogy .
More popular ..Coke
Sport .more popular on tv Rl .

Reality is a hard thing for brainwashed fumblers to accept .

it's an over-simplified analogy for simple minds like RL fans.

Using your analogy to fit into the TV scheduling for both comps:

- On Thursday, Friday, and during the finals the Coke (AFL) is by far the more popular product and sells far more product. On these days both products sell for the same price.
- On the Weekend the Pepsi (NRL) is heavily discounted so more people buy it.
- When the year is reviewed Coke has earned more revenue but the Pepsi has sold more product for a lower price.

However, the store owner knows which is the most popular product. When both products are sold for similar prices the Coke is just more popular =D

Most are played at similar times as each other?

how can you be that fucking ignorant? When both competitions put their better games head to head the AFL come out in front. Not occasionally, not most of the time, 21 out of the last 21.

If that isnt clear of the most popular comp nothing is.

I've always wondered.
Who actually awards the coveted gold medal for ratings?
When is the ceremony?
What does the medal look like?

I think you will find its was light hearted joke made during the Olympics several years back . The NRL stoop at the top of the dias that year and have been winning gold ever since.
:thumbleft:

What became of your graphs?

Does it ever come in to your thought process that at least 1/3 of your games are shown in complete isolation. you have many more matches on FTA , You split your Sat/Sunday matches to increase you ratings. Yet you still get beat by millions. ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) but, but, but, scheduling, scheduling

Enjoy that silver!
