i am actually happy it failed. :cheers: because i am not a fan of end of year origin.
after Grand Final > it should always be the International window.

How many clubs struggle with the mid season origin pillage of their guns?
Keep it with the inters, imo.

Appears the US election and ABC programming hurt the RL State of Origin ratings? Melbourne and Perth in particular when you add ABC multi channels to primary channel.

I still think the 3 origins can get to a combined 9 million veiwers for the 3 games with QLD winning game one being the catalyst. Game 2 requiring a NSW win should rate well & I have no doubt NSW will force a decider in Brisbane which will rate very well

Well there’s no doubt rl will win the rep season of course. Afl winning home and away and also finals.

Keep it with the inters, imo.
it is different every year,
the way it is done last few years.
is Origin is Standalone for game 2
and NRL teams have byes split between Game 1 and 3
So at worse a team could be with out there star players for 1 game..
which sometimes depending the year can be 5 or 6 at best.

it has def helped and it will back to this format for Season 2021
