So can you post these figures for each week for ea h sport?

And why is it a puff peice ? He talked up cricket of anything and said afl and nrl were pretty much the same ?

Surely the ceo wouldn’t be lying and you’d think (hope) he would know how his company is doing?

Again, do they (Kayo) publish weekly data on viewing numbers? Cause I see lots of estimates . Seems they may have once and people are using that as the basis of estimates but hardly robust if so.

Again, the head of the company is giving a weekly figure where it only slightly has afl ahead? Why is this an issue? And why would he want to not tell the true figures?

Nothing beats cricket, but the AFL has more Kayo viewers than the NRL.

No need to speculate anymore.

Come on beatup............can you be this stupid. This tells us nothing. The actual published numbers from this years NRL V fumbling tell the story. And the NRL is flogging your insulated mob.

This is just PR waffle pal!!!! Wake up!!!!!

I’ll go with what the Kayo chief executive says over your BS thanks.

AGAIN

Kayo chief executive Julian Ogrin spoke on Friday about the size of the audiences Kayo is now attracting.

“There isn’t a sports streaming service with the live operations capabilities, depth and breadth of sport that you’ve just mentioned anywhere else in the world, let alone Australia,” said Ogrin.

“In the last month alone, we’ve had over 25 million hours streamed on Kayo which translates to over 24 hours watched per subscriber.”

Key sports for streaming customers

Ogrin: “Firstly, the tentpole sports are important – there’s no getting around that. AFL, NRL, cricket, Formula 1, Supercars and NBA are all critical. As Patrick Delany said, the numbers we are seeing for these sports are unprecedented.

“Over 300k unique users for AFL games and nearly 300k unique users on a weekly fixture NRL game.

My take on this statement is, that NRL do almost 300k on a regular basis for weekly fixture.

Yep - and why would that be different for AFL - that is, doing just over 300k on a weekly fixture?

because its 2 statements seperated by the word 'and'! One statement mention 'weekly' one statement doesn't.

I see, so you are saying, and agree it could be on those words seen this way, on that statement above that he could be 300k unique users for AFL games (total for season) and nearly 300k unique users per NRL game. As he says "game" for NRL and uses the "a" to possible refer to singular and then uses "games" for AFL? Interesting.

its an absurd statement anyway you look at it

the NRL averaged 372K per game in round 6 i think it was on stv

if one 3rd of that was kayo , its almost 1 million for that round alone

Yep. That's what I said from the get go on this BS. It was a puff piece trying to keep all the stakeholders happy with smoke and mirrors nothings.

The reality is RL is absolutely flogging the fumbling game on Fox and Kayo. Full stop! Game over! Call off the fight!!!
