Pretty close - I am quite surprised it was that close to be honest in sports loving Melbourne - they love an event.

LOL - I don't mind the show - have to know when to hold em - know when to fold em.... choose your battles lol. Happy wife happy life :)
for years in Melbourne the figure has been floating around the 350k mark
so it is well down on previous years.
NSW winning by 44 points might have something to do with it.

and yes i get the happy wife happy life :D:

Also big news breaking in Victoria with Buckley quitting Collingwood - This would have been leading the news let alone the sport so some focus taken off it. Although it is still lockdown so going by the theory here should have rated better.
Come on Freddie, just admit it pal! For the first time in ya life just say ‘Well done Rugby League, great ratings’.

Deep breaths Freddy! One,two, three.....’Well done RL’.

I know you’ve got in ya pal!!

AFL FTA programming for Rd 13

Melbourne - 5matches
Adelaide - 5 matches
Perth - 6 matches
Sydney - 5 matches
Queensland 6 matches

But, But, But, Excuse, Excuse, :blahblah: :blahblah: :blahblah:

Yet you will still finish runner up - how is that even possible?

but unless this season is different to others the NRL almost catch back up because of more rounds and 4 FTA games a round in the last month.

Stuck watching bloody MasterChef lol. Would be interested to see which rates higher outside nsw and qld.

Being in qld doesn’t seem to be the usual build up as once was. Should rate a motza though I reckon.
poor bugger must be whipped to watching that rubbish

and yes in Melbourne State of Origin rated higher than masterchef.

State of Origin Metro >> 246,000
Masterchef Metro >> 228,000
Front BAR AFL Metro >> 230,000
The ABC winning the Melbourne market it appears. Still huge numbers for State of Origin nationwide despite the blowout scoreline.

I think you will fine Sydney and Brisbane NRL matches up with AFL Melbourne FTA

But All other states have more FTA Matches of AFL than the traditional NRL Markets.

it is not the end all. it is just a stat.

both codes are evenly matched.
have similar scheduling and viewing.
codes have negatives and positives in the tv Deal

Overall it is a summary of which code has drawn more viewers for the year.
