The AFLs single game on FTA rated 143k more on metro than the NRL despite no ratings from Sydney.

Games in isolation get more ratings on average than concurrent games.

Seems obvious to me that extra games dilutes the audience of each individual match, so a lower average is entirely expected. 500 AFL fans watch 2 matches average 250 viwers, 500 NRL fans watch 1 match 500 viewers. Perhaps this has been covered im new.

Game may be slightly diluted in ways, But you forget to add in Extra FTA coverage of this game???

extra FTA coverage picks up more viewers, than a Excusive FOX Game.

Take out a proportion of Melbourne's ratings and the games are still decent ratings, far higher than having 2 games run concurrently

The figures shown are for a single FTA match, Carlton v eagles. They are not a combination of 2 matches you goose. How could they be?
