800k for last nights game - better than expected.

Do you think having no AFL on would have helped?
I imagine it would help some!

But wait, LOL will be on in a minute telling us about the evils of having longer matches

Parramatta Eels v Brisbane Broncos
Nine/Gem 488,000 (Metro 304,000 Regional 184,000)
Fox League 252,000

That Parra v Bronx Game was a 1 sided sloppy game. (put it in the bundle of the Top 5 worse yet)

Titans v Souths
however was Brilliant.

Gold Coast Titans v South Sydney Rabbiohs
Fox League 255,000

The Bronco's are a dead set embarrassment! Brisbane desperately needs that 2nd team to share prime time TV slots. You would hope that at least one of 'em would be competitive.

I see the fumblers got 877k. Not great either. When kayo is counted RL will go close to winning the night again. Kayo is becoming a ratings game changer. And it's all going the way of the greatest game of all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any recent figure for kayo?

The NRL got around 740k so to suggest they may have beaten the AFLs 877k means you think the NRL are getting over 140k more per game than the AFL.

Any figures backing this up?

Yep, PVL and the Commission... know what to do!
competitive tension and rivalries with more teams in Brisbane.
will only benefit the Broncos and the League

i know right, Kayo and Streaming will benefit Rugby league even more over any code, due to the popularity and exclusives
of the game on the network..
i expect the figures to increase next year..

I could only imagen what an extra game / Brisbane team would mean for Subs for Fox in Brisbane and FTA

Round 5 and Round 6 for NRL and AFL averages per game for Fox plus streaming were added.
372k NRL

213k AFL.

do the maths on numbers. NRL dominating Streaming

this does not include 9now streaming for NRL games.

Yeah nah, you can't estimate Kayo numbers for AFL played on Friday night because those averages include 6 AFLs games shown against another game

The NRL probably average 250k on fox only last week. This suggests they averaged 120k on kayo. For them to beat the AFL last night the AFL would have needed kayo ratings of -20k

Yeah nah, you can't estimate Kayo numbers from those averages because the 6 of the AFLs games last week were shown against another game, while none of the NRL games were.
be good if FOX released more figures, it is getting better with supplying numbers
that is for sure compared to last year..
