AFL Finals to the end of Week 3 - 14.951m
NRL Finals to the end of Week 3 - 12.655m (sat prelim still to be consolidated)
AFL gained 357,000 from VOZ - which includes NT and Tas ratings not available to cons7 and prelim overnights. VOZ has no data for the first two weeks of the NRL finals - all matches failed to make cutoff to the VOZ top 20, and the League finals havent made the Tas cutoffs on Regtam either.

This is lower than 2021, lower than the previous low in 2019, and is the lowest ever.

114k over 2019, so thats got to be a relief.
300k under the AFL Grand Final - despite prime time.
Lowest metro ever
Lowest Brisbane audience ever.
saved by the largest BVOD audience ever for the grand final

Not an unexpected result. Penrith dominated the whole game and were never going to lose. Many would have tuned out early. No Qld team or Storm hurt capital city numbers. And outside of Penrith the Panthers have few followers and are no one's 2nd team.WookieReturns wrote: ↑Mon Oct 03, 2022 1:52 pm 114k over 2019, so thats got to be a relief.

To get stellar ratings they need one of the big Sydney teams V a Qld team or Storm. Nevertheless RL will have 4 of the top half a dozen or so TV broadcasts of the year. And of course RL smashed fumbling in overall ratings. A pass mark overall.

Does it really matter if they get beaten in the ratings if the broadcaster sees less value in them

Still on about that bummy?? You're a one trick pony pal. Maybe RL needs to be a longer game. Having 1/3 less broadcast time surely effects value. Commonsense pal. Something you wouldn't understand!WookieReturns wrote: ↑Mon Oct 03, 2022 3:17 pmDoes it really matter if they get beaten in the ratings if the broadcaster sees less value in them
