Yep and then Melbourne
So saying advertisers looking at metro's first is false. They want Sydney then Melbourne.

I think they are mainly interested in metro figures. Which is well documented. I am guessing they then look city by city. From what I recall, the companies that buy the advertising spaces to onsell look at overall figures.
i think you're a **** :[] :[] :[] :[] :[]    :(/ :(/

But it is Metro that the advertises are interested in for the main that is where the coin is.
you are right and also wrong..

the Advertising Dollar

Is Sydney, Melbourne than Brisbane.

Regional NSW and QLD have a higher dollar than Perth and Adelaide.

Regional Australia stands at 33% outside of 5 main cities.

I think you need to look at the spread of Regional Australia. Many channels/affiliates. Metro is the one market - one TV channel. Advertising dollar is much less for those markets as it is spread out. There is a reason people who buy the advertising that on-sell it - only look at Metro figures.

they don't just look at Metro, they look at both, they look more at metro because it is larger percentage.

QLD for example, more people live in Regional areas than metro.

NSW north and south are big markets.
advertisers give them a good look

It is the audience you are targeting. With Regional it is a wide area and is sold separately I believe So you have far North QLD and you have Southern Downs area - you are selling packages separately into those areas - but they are quire diverse.

for Sport in general, that have there top 10 -15 sponsors right, and they pretty much play every game every week throughout the season.

most of these sponsors are big companies, and are located in all areas, regional south west east north.

yes PRIME, WIN, NBN, SOUTHERN CROSS all get different amounts in different areas.

but it is not hard to break down in the year 2022

All I am saying is Metro is one market - Regional/Country is several markets so when Media Buyers buy up blocks of advertising - that is why they look at Metro figures - cause that is their main selling market - where the big coin is.

Agree it is growing - but it is not one market - but lumped in as one market. I believe GC comes under Regional as too does Cairns as too does MacKay.

Channel 10 / Paramount have released a report for TV Audiences.

stating A LEAGUE "REACHED" 4.7million People.

take it whatever that means (but it does not look that high to me)
