When fox is included the swans ratings would be way more.
How many ppl in Sydney watched swans on fox?!
All Swans Games are shown on FTA so there's not going to have anything like the Storm numbers on PTV. A fact that's highlighted in GF when Fox is no longer an issue.

I know heaps of Swans fans in Sydney who watch games on either Foxtel or Kayo as it’s ad free.

Swans rated 77k on FTA last night compared the Storm's 38k on Thursday night
And once you leave out the stand out part to make your argument sound somewhat CREDIBLE. The best rating PTV team in Austalian sport, and Kayo would be similar.
Would be could be should be. Without figures you have nothing.

Where's the evidence of the NRLs dominance on Kayo? I've seen one report showing averages of fox and kayo only. Hardly informative when many of our games are concurrent

You are spot on…. there is no evidence of NRL dominance on Kayo.

• AFL fans are watching an average of 3.5 hours each week, with some regular season games reaching over 100,000 users including the West Coast v Richmond clash on 18 August watched by 130,000 users.

• NRL fans were also watching an average of 3.5 hours each week, with some regular season games reaching nearly 70,000 users.

Kayo and Foxtel will be working with MCN to blend the streaming platform audience with the TV audience currently measured by OzTAM, to give advertisers are more accurate picture to the growing audiences watching their ads.

“For example, the Richmond v West Coast AFL match on 18 August reached an audience of 628,000 across Fox Sports, Foxtel Now and Go, making it the third most watched Sunday game on Foxtel this season. When you add Kayo’s 130,000 unique users, the Foxtel group is reaching a very large and diverse audience,” said Ogrin.

In 2019 NRL and AFL aps were still available. That is no longer the case.

the South V West game a few weeks ago got 306k on Fox, when Kayo was added the number was 460. For The opening Round matches in both codes, The AFL's game was about 70k more ,once kayo was added for the matches the difference was closer to 20k.

Nothing beats cricket, but the AFL has more Kayo viewers than the NRL.

No need to speculate anymore.

Key sports for streaming customers

Ogrin: “Firstly, the tentpole sports are important – there’s no getting around that. AFL, NRL, cricket, Formula 1, Supercars and NBA are all critical. As Patrick Delany said, the numbers we are seeing for these sports are unprecedented.

“Over 300k unique users for AFL games and nearly 300k unique users on a weekly fixture NRL game.

“We are getting 150k for Formula 1 races at midnight.”

European Football, NFL, PGA Golf also rate well

“We know fans are consuming more sport, across more codes. They want convenience, and they want choice.

“No single sport on Kayo has accounted for more than 25% of viewing since launch and over 40% of viewing has occurred outside of AFL, cricket and League.

“Since launch, over 60% of accounts have watched more than one sport on Kayo; over 30% have watched five or more sports.”

Importance of women’s sport on Kayo

“We have WBBL, AFLW, women’s hockey and NRLW. Next year, women’s netball (including two games a week and the finals series on Freebies).

Analysing viewer data

“Not only do we have the audience data for each of the codes, but we also have the cross-over data – so we understand how different audiences are intersecting. All of this is helping us drive a more engaged and a stickier customer base.”

Nothing beats cricket on Kayo

“While the unique viewing figures for AFL and NRL are incredible, nothing beats cricket. We are getting over 500,000 users for an Australia v India match and this summer we are looking forward to what we will be a bumper cricket season hosting the Ashes on home soil in what will be a huge summer of cricket.”

They know exactly what the figures are. Why they don’t publish them is curious.

I’ll go with what the Kayo chief executive says over your BS thanks.

AGAIN

Kayo chief executive Julian Ogrin spoke on Friday about the size of the audiences Kayo is now attracting.

“There isn’t a sports streaming service with the live operations capabilities, depth and breadth of sport that you’ve just mentioned anywhere else in the world, let alone Australia,” said Ogrin.

“In the last month alone, we’ve had over 25 million hours streamed on Kayo which translates to over 24 hours watched per subscriber.”
