Swans rated 77k on FTA last night compared the Storm's 38k on Thursday night
And once you leave out the stand out part to make your argument sound somewhat CREDIBLE. The best rating PTV team in Austalian sport, and Kayo would be similar.
Would be could be should be. Without figures you have nothing.

Where's the evidence of the NRLs dominance on Kayo? I've seen one report showing averages of fox and kayo only. Hardly informative when many of our games are concurrent

Brumbies vs Reds did 69k on FTA almost the same as Swans in Sydney. 40 years in the city & a rugby game with no local team is almost on par. Super rugby have no marketing & get no media

Don't know. Don't know why a super rugby game was on FTA either. Afl spends millions while rugby is bankrupt. Bit of reality check for you guys.

Super rugby is invisible whereas afl is the richest sport with huge promotion & marketing. Celebrating a razor thin result despite this is weird

Sydney is an expansion market. RU has been played in the city for yeons. I don't think the AFL would be worried about rating more on FTA when the game was also on fox in a new market

Can you have team in city for 40 years & still be an expansion market??
Afl probably not worried because swans always do shit ratings. Just interesting comparison when hidden league without any local connection does about the same

Again... grand final ??? And lots of media leading up to it. How does super rugby rate generally for regular season games? I really do not know but would be interested.

Mate... when you’re trying to compare a grand final ratings to a home and away ratings you’re kind in trouble.... especially when you still lost. Without pay tv.

Yeah, that's all the Sydney media was talking about - lol.

Afl grand final one of the most watched TV shows each year while super rugby final is just not. Small competition with small following... but on par with swans in Sydney so it seems

Except a GF compared to a home and away game isn't about the same. Nor is an expansion sport compared to a heartland sport. The fact a simple home and away game of AFL easily outrates RU in a heartland state after foxtel is included shows how irrelevant RU has become in Australia

So matching swan's numbers in Sydney makes you irrelevant?! Good to know.
I think you're overrating the importance of super rugby particularly without local team.

All Swans Games are shown on FTA so there's not going to have anything like the Storm numbers on PTV. A fact that's highlighted in GF when Fox is no longer an issue.
Australia's number 1 sport RUGBY LEAGUE. Preferred by more Australians than any other
