NRL Grand Final ratings without Storm rate around the 350k - 400k

and yes, they benefit with a breed of crops direct from the sunny state.
they have had a golden 10 years.

all great teams come to an end.
If this is referring to me I think I said greatest team of the modern era. I think they changed the rules significantly after this winning streak. I think, but not sure, they brought in the6 tackle rule.

There are great teams, then there's the Melbourne Storm.
In the 23 years of NRL history no other team comes close to them.
6 Grand final wins. Next best 3. With them making the GF another 4 times but not winning.
They've finished top of the ladder 7 times.
And made the semis 19 of the 23 years.

Making Victoria having the greatest Rugby league team in NRL history. With no sign of "coming to an end" imo.

The Big V reign supreme.

And I can't begin to tell you how much entertainment I get listening to the likes of Gus Gould trying to swallow that pill.

I'll raise you the St George Dragons .... 11 grand final wins in a row from 1956 to 1966
no team in any sport in any tier one competition has got near that feat.
So they are the greatest team in RL & indeed any sport arguably.

Trust a vicderpian to not know about sporting records if it doesn't have a singlet involved lol   :(/ :(/

They Cheated! If other clubs had enough for another 2 or 3 top line players it would of been a total different result.

A premiership that dosn't exist. A premiership achieved by a second set of boooks!

Every one was doing it. It's just that the Storm, as usual, did it better than the rest.

But their penalty was clearly unequally weighted for being Victorian.
Several other clubs had similar breaches and just copped fines.

No - that is simply not true Pussy. The facts are there. If you choose to discount two of their premierships that's on you - if you makes you feel all warm and fuzz - but the facts are they won those premierships - and no one can deny that. There's pictures of them holding up the cup and the players have the rings.

If you choose to discount two of their premierships that's on you - if you makes you feel all warm and fuzz - but the facts are they won those premierships - and no one can deny that. There's pictures of them holding up the cup and the players have the rings.

Its' not on me Fred , I do not run the competition. I do not make the rules nor do I enforce the rules. The Storm went out of there way to breach the competion rules - were caught - and payed the price.

They broke the rules and as such were stripped of these premierships. You might chose to remember it differently. But history and facts will show they were the 2nd most successful club during this period....

But they still won the premierships - were the best side and no one can deny that.

Repeated stupidity, regardless of the facts . Got Victoria written all over it!

Veni, Vidi, but once again failed to conquer.
