seriously can you ever talk normally ?

What you recan CH7 can afford NRL along with Cricket and AFL
its been stated multiple times for years that they cannot.
i dont know there financial position except the guy that owns them stokes lives here in WA also and hangs out with other billionaires like Gina Reinhearts and Twiggy? Forest

its what the networks deem the worth of the games' product not what PVL or fans think! last time PVL was laughed out of the office. that's not making jokes its what happened
PVL can talk all he wants, it means jack shit in the end
of course if Ch7 got huge backers anything is possible..
in saying Ch9 are very well equipped at present..

you keep saying PVL was laughed out of the office.

I don’t know or care about the state of finances of the networks, but if channel 7 bidding also, they see them self in the financial position to do so

No need to try and paint the picture that suits the nrl fans dream over the factual picture

He made a deal during the height of COVID>> and excepted 1st offers from FOX> which at the time was kinda good
with not what was expecting to come>> but in the end was a shocking deal.
He did, they offered him the deal and told take it or leave it and he took it after mouthing off.

The AFL went in and got what they wanted a lot more money than the NRL. The deals were negotiated both through Covid

deals take several years to draw up buy the best minds and brains in the business due to the large sums of money involved. its not a 12 moth contrac to be shown on communities TV

NRL one was really different >>
Covid hit>> resume of play with crowds was very uncertain.
PVL Chairman went straight to FOX and wanted an extension on its current tv rights.
and FOX agreed (the deal did not even go up)
for a brief period it gave financial backing for the league and he was applauded

But as the world started to see Covid was not that bad and it was not doom and gloom..
and life returned to normal very quick.
it was seen as a rushed deal without going to tender...
it pretty much backfired on the NRL>

AFL however played it smart and cool
road out the covid storm and see how Australia looked financially and got an extension and than signed a 7 year deal 2.5 years later.

It was very smart by the AFL in hindsight..

It’s the difference in operations from both of the codes excs, one knows its value goes silently about its business, TEMU Pete need to continually needs click bait the public with comparisons to the AFL for negotiations to over inflate the popularity of his code

The execs at the top are the masters of the advertising world and it’s there business, so old TEMU Peter will always be out played
