the networks are nearly dead with out live sports, so if seven gain the NRL rights RIP to C9?

agree they are no way what they were 10 years ago.. 100%

What is interesting the uptake on 9now and 7plus lift the networks back up..
they are gaining in popularity which is a huge boost for them.

add in Ch9 owning Stan which has 2.6million subs

(if Ch9 lost Rugby league) there biggest asset would it kill ch9 nope) it will most certainly hurt them.

Ch7 will find it very hard to outbid ch9 who have a media arm of Stan Entertainment.

latest Speculation Details put the NRL at 5 year deal at $800mill per season (4 Billion)
PVL thinks it will be done in around 3 months..

Head Networks all met in Vegas

No guarantee this new deal will be massive.

The violin might very well be playing a sad song for the NRL.

The company has outlayed over 7 billion to aquire sporting rights around the world but now needs to balance the books.
DAZN will not throw big money for risky new deals unless the numbers support it, no more speculation.
Blavatnik is a genius media tycoon and will be no pushover, the big V might be out of his depth.
