Over 9.6 million Australians now support an AFL club, up over 680,000 on a year ago.

The only expanding they are doing is putting new teams in their own backyards, lol.

Thugby fans still think it was a hit when only 61 thousand Americans tuned into the game. A long way to go yet and a very slow burn for the nRL.

Even though some of the Gather Round games were played at very small venues, the AFL still beat the Thugby for crowd attendances!
