Re: Streaming companies want to broadcast AFL
I expect the AFL /media /propaganda Dept to be working overtime on this up coming deal .

That soon becomes as usual Twisted to the streaming ...

Re: Another poor crowd.
To be fair crowds have never been a strong suit of the nrl - AFL still for 27000 - which the nrl would see as a bonanza. But agree for the AFL it is very low. Thursday nights aren’t new and have gotten crowds in the past - so wondering what is going on now?
If the AFL wanted to sell out they’d ...

Re: Streaming companies want to broadcast AFL
Which is why paramount is a danger/blessing.
For the football states they may agree and pay for 5/4 fta to boost up 10 and still get more subscription for plus.

So 9/stan, 7/foxtel, 10/Paramount, ?/disney. And another player…apparently. Foxtel ...

And what has that got to do with what I said.
Bored now.
Just ur bullshit that euro cup is something other than gathering smaller than local footy comp & that you'd prefer game ...

Re: Origin
Could you imagine if the AFL had a origin where say Victoria played the rest of the country on a Sunday night how big those ratings would be if it was as passionate as the NRL state of origin is.
The ratings would be like seriously 5-8million views.
But the footy/AFL doesn't need that as the ...

Re: Streaming companies want to broadcast AFL
I'm pretty sure whatever deal is cut it will include Fox Sports. Kayo on the other hand have plenty to worry about and I think rightly so. In my experience, Kayo absolutely sucks.
