I think the average for the round ended up being about 14,500. May I add that that's the first time the average has dipped below last years record yearly average of 14,800 odd. For this week to be considered a poor week for the NRL crowd wise just shows how much crowds have improved since last year,...

All-time highscores a farce
I notice there is roughly 5 of us all tied for the all-time highest score of the Warthogs game, yet for some reason KE holds the title. The same applies to some other games. Milly and Tarry or whatever it's called comes to mind. Why is this so? I beleive it is misleads members as to KE's real abilit...

Re: War over R. League TV rights
Booming popularity? Wow, 3,000 extra supporters a game. I noticed the average NRL H&A crowd for 05 took a tumble on the weekend too. I'm sorry Beaussie, but i'll have to pull you up on that one. Prior to the weekend's round (Round 8), the NRL's seasons average was 17,900 with an aggregate of 87...

Is the CEO out of line with these comments? Given the way coaches and players are treated by their governing bodies in terms of what they are and aren't allowed to say, isn't it a bit of a case of double standards for Demetriou to comment on such an issue? I haven't seen any quotes, but it sounds un...

That's excellent news. Robina is a fantasitc site. Extra parking, a rail line, local businesses, room for expansion ie a Leagues club, etc, etc. The AFL is now left with that dump at Carrara. Its a nightmare in terms of traffic and possible expansion, and the AFL won't have the luxury of recieving s...
