anyone with half a brain knows why Essendons crowds are down. Its hardly surprising given theyre missing about 2/3rds of their team.
Man, NRL fans claim their crowds are down in the SOO period because 2 or 3 players a team are missing

Re: AFL Womens league: 3 hours old and already more national than the NRL
you seem obsessed with international validation. Maybe its because its one of the only things RL has going for it when comparing to the AFL. Insignificant international growth certainly doesnt seem to bother the NFL. They know theyre one of the worlds most popular sports without it Is really a case...

Re: A weird reality
Excuses excuses, so why does'nt Mexico play Grid Iron? They border the U.S too. Union, League, Netball, Basketball and Soccer all have professional competions that include New Zealand and Australia. What is AFLs excuse? Aussie Rules has had a presence in NZ since 1871. Before rugby league even exis...

In reality your sport is a meaningless sport played by a few hundred thousand people worldwide and watched by a couple of million. That is your position in the world, I would accept it and know your place. The beauty of it is, we do. Whats fun is watching you people blow a gasket at how irrelevant ...

Well the AFL, A league, cricket, golf, tennis all get the best crowds in Australia. Why are the storm struggling despite massive success? Imagine if they were performing like the lions tennis would do superb in Adelaide and Brisbane also (if they had it) Sydney forget it soccer does great in Sydney...

These "members" are the ones that pay $50 for a showbag and never attend a game? Do the kids that participate in school holiday camps also get counted? As that is on the Essendon membership page. Report in the Hearld Sun a few years ago at Adelaide teams double counting members, if they b...

Re: Huge fall in crowds for AFL club Essendon. Lowest since 1991.
why aren't they going to watch them then? 80k to anzac day, 60k to game v tigers. Is that acceptable? Their crowds have been sliding as the season goes on due to repeated thrashings. No surprise people arent goint to watch a team made up from temporary fill ins get thrashed. Having said that they s...
