Season 05 Over for Port

Well they had to win today to stay in the hunt. Very disappointing loss to the Roos. Early in the game I was thinking they were going to run away with it. Gotta give it to the Kangaroos, that shinboner spirit sure is strong. Never give in it seems.

I don't think the rebuilding is going to take as long as you think KE. They have been able to keep their stars and whilst I haven't really taken much notice of the new players they are blooding, I'm sure they'll unearth some new stars of the future that will fit in nicely with what still is an aweso...

Despite last nights disappointing loss to the Dogs, I still think the Lions will be on the prowl during September. I don't think they are capable of winning the premiership though.

Hmmm i think the made the right choice sorry BA but i think the dogs game will be alot closer than most think. In the end not as close or as exciting (heart breaking for Swans fans) as Adelaide vs Sydney. Gees, missed opportunities really hurt the Swans last night. As Roos said today, we should of ...

What's Going On With Geelong?

Fair dinkum, last week the Cats were beaten by the Western Bulldogs and then last night they were beaten again by Essendon. Is this team worthy of finals footy? Me thinks they are just making up the numbers.

Match of the Round - Not According to Channel 10

Whilst everyone would agree Adelaide v Sydney is the match of the round this week, Channel 10 in all their wisdom are only showing the game in the Sydney and Adelaide markets via the Fox Footy feed (not even Canberra is getting the match). All other cities will get the Western Bulldogs v Brisbane. Y...

Beaussie - what a mistake. I still cannot find any thread started by Pickles on Fight Club (Fan -v- Fan), so this is how he is rewarded. OK, fair point I had forgotten about that. I would still think pickles is suitable for the other boards where he is mod. He certainly doing something right with h...

Done Beaussie - thanks for your challenge! Your wager has been accepted. I will PM you my account details after the game! Just like the Lions, very cocky and arrogant. The $300 you'll no doubt soon owe me will be of great assistane in paying out pickles, the likely winner of the AFL tipping comp. I...

Well your man Robert Walls says they (Brisbane) have a very good chance of winning the Premiership, and you quote him in the opening post of this thread. Are you now saying he doesn't know what he's talking about? Robert Walls has been proven wrong with his comments during the St Kilda v Sydney gam...

Didn't you say in a previous post, Beaussie, that this was already resolved? I believe it was in response to a comment from Grim about the Swans playing a preliminary final. You couldn't have been wrong, could you? :o There was talk of it being resolved at that stage, but my understanding is that i...

How about a bet? Swans will not only finish higher than the Lions, but they'll also defeat them again this season in 2 weeks time in Sydney. You want a wager on that? As for your lame excuses as to why the Lions got beat earlier in the season, well, they're just that, lame in the extreme. Face facts...

Why would I stick up for him? He went too far in continuing the scuffle  And secondly earlier in this thread you claimed i heard wrong about a fight taking place at this game insinuating there was no brawl and now you seem to be agreeing  . Was hardly a brawl. you also claim it to...
