AFL is more popular nationwide I think is what David Gallop is constantly pointing out. As for your last point about tv ratings. Dream on. Not only will the AFL dominate Pay TV from next season onwards with all games live and exclusive to Foxtel, there is no way a two markets (Sydney & Brisbae)...

Broome and Alice Springs are AFL heartland yet don't have a team. What a silly thing for you to say pussycat. Im only saying that because the NRL has a team in North Queensland (AFL heartland apparently) and it attracts plenty of Support. The Cowboys represent Townsville only, not North Quee...

How stupid does Roy Gallop think people are ? Its fairly common knowledge that Rugby League dominates(by a long way) the list of top rating matches on Foxtel. It is also common knowledge that there is a greater 'take up' in the Eastern States(Rugby League dominated states) and, correct me if im wro...

And your point pussycat is? Will your link ensure the NRL matches or tops the AFL tv rights deal? Hasn't in the past and can't see it changing anytime soon. The gap between the codes in terms of tv dollars seems to widen every 5 years. BTW, did you notice the TV ratings this week. Gold Coast vs Bri...

Agreed that Cairns is definately AFL heartland. And there is no way Darwin is 50/50 as KE suggests. If there's such a huge following why don't the AFL have a team there? Broome and Alice Springs are AFL heartland yet don't have a team. What a silly thing for you to say pussycat. Im on...

No, I didn't bother. Somehow I have a feeling that if the NRL were anywhere near the top , the figures would go missing once again.

Re: Why Dont AFL or Union Players Convert to Rugby League?

It's always interested me why league players are poached by other codes like AFL and RU but never the other way round? In my opinion the reasons are simple Aussie Rules and Union players just don't cut the mustard in terms of physical strength and speed. They just couldnt adapt and would not be wor...
