Fred, you cant use averages if the conditions arent identical. Eg: NRL on Thursday night is a single game shown nationally on FTA and fox. Average audience is say 900k. AFL on Saturday night has two games at the same time, shown nationally on PTV but only one is shown into each city on FTA. Ratings...

It's looking like 5 teams may be retained due to legal action and other challenges for the ARU and SAANZAR. The ARU and NRL management are level pegging for incompetence. Actually the ARU are a head in front at the moment.
