Re: what is wrong with fumblers ...serious question

Serious answer. You don't need to worry about it so much. Many great AFL posters on this forum. They contribute to the debates in an knowledgeable, informative fair, honest and respectful manner.. Bad eggs in every sport, could comb through the papers and find plenty of deplorable behaviour by Nrl ...

Re: former president of WADA slams AFL an unclean sport

The AFL players association had too much say on this policy. and watered it down, so players avoid being penalised., they need to butt out. Leave the development of such policy to administrators and consultants who have expert knowledge of substance abuse in sport. You do realise it is a voluntary ...

Re: Gather Round

From my experience, I think you are right in that there are a lot of ex-pats ion the gc - but I also know of many born and bred Queenslanders who follow the game - they may also follow RL and maybe even soccer (usually epl) but also Aussie rules. I think the days of you either like this or you like...

Re: Gather Round

I think southeast qld has a very strong Aussie rules presence - not as big as RL but possibly big enough for a one off weekend. Adding to that, plenty of people would more likely come from across the country given qld is a holiday destination so makes the trip more attractive. Think it would work - ...

Re: Gather Round

I think South East QLD would be a great choice - two big stadiums, the Brisbane stadium out at Springfield or wherever it is, you could even use Southport's ground on the GC if needed. So the Gabba could have a Friday night game, Saturday game, Sunday game. People's First (GC) could do a Saturday an...

totally surprised at the listed crowd for the storm - when I turned over it looked pretty sparse - good to see such a good crowd in Melbourne getting behind the Storm.

That’s a decent average crowd for the Brisbane games - the others aren’t too bad either.
