TRADE WEEK

Hi all, news from SA for the start of trade week is quite big. News is the Edward's Wife V McLeod's Wife feud continues and could spill over causing one of the two players to leave. The mail is McLeod will go to Brisbane in exchange for J Brennan, J Sherman or C Wood plus draft picks. Other one is S...

Funny watching fox footy last night, all the saints supporters were ringing up in support of Thomas. Usually its the teams own supporters that bag the coach, cant they see he was holding back a club that could have had a dynasty since 2003. I would have been more than happy if they'd kept him. Only ...

Heard a rumour that even though St Kilda are favourites for the flag, Grant Thomas has been given one more yet to make a GF. Has been told with the side that he has they should have already made one or two and at least must make it this year. Dont mean to be antagonistic Saints supporters, but he d...

Poor Old Vics!!

HI All, how good is it that there will be no finals in Victoria after next week except for the Grand Final. HOpefully a Crows V Swans Grand Final because I dont know if my Crows can beat the Eagles on the last Saturday in September. The others (Vic teams) are just making up numbers, get used to it V...

Didak's 'Bump'

Just another inconsistency in the AFL's judicial system. How Didak can get off after that 'Bump' to the head is a joke, I wonder if it was carried out by Byron Pickett or Mark Ricuttio the decision would have been different. Roo got rubbed out for the first final last year from a 'Bump' like that bu...

Adelaide V Bulldogs

Just a quick one for those who live in Melbourne and go to the MCG regularly, I'm heading over for the Adel Bulldogs game and the G and wanting to know whether its better to book before hand or just rock up on the day? About 6 of us so just wanting some quick advice. Cheers

Typical!!

Don't know about everyone else but I feel ripped off by the result last night. To go down in the last 8 seconds after totally dominating a match and having a little weed referee decide he's going to put his stamp on the game is just typical of the game of soccer. I am a big AFL fan and can now under...

Still reckon all the players can talk about playing in a State of Origin now but when it comes to actually getting up for the game and having the best players available it won't happen. Clubs invest too much in their players to have them injured in a game that doesnt mean much. As a spectacle it wou...

Coaches - who will last the year?

At the start of the season a few of us had our tips for the first sacked coach and one's who would be sacked throughout the season. I had 1. Chris Connoly, 2. Grant Thomas and 3. Neil Deniher. Safe to say Daniher was a bad call, but the other two are up there. Fair enough the saints have had injurie...

Someone told me the cards last until the end of the group stage then they're wiped, not sure who got yellow cards in last nights game but at least the Socceroos have their own destiny in their hands from now on, hope they go for the win, stuff the draw just in case Brazil have a few dollars on thems...

Yellow Cards

HI all, I'm usually on the AFL site but having jumped onto the already crowded Socceroos bandwagon I'm hoping you can tell me what happens with yellow cards. With some star players on yellow cards we obviously dont want them sent off, in the World Cup how long does the yellow card apply, is it the r...

I still think out of season players should be allowed to do their own thing, but if they know there is this testing in place why would they do it. Either they think they can get away with it or they are just plain stupid, clubs cant be expected to babysit them 24 hours a day.

Port will struggle with the players they've lost but they still have a good spine to work with, but maybe not the strength of a top 8 team. Beachlover, the Dockers better do something this year or its bye bye Connolly. Dont take the pies too lightly, they beat a pretty much full strength St Kilda te...
