Re: Drop-in wickets another example of AngloFL ruining Australia

Sydney Swans are the most popular football club in Sydney and have been for a while. Rugby League is the most popular code in Sydney and has been for many decades. The most popular NRL clubs are not in Sydney. Australian Rules dominates west of the Barrassi line and that line is moving slowly but s...

Re: AngloFL failed global expansion.. next destination

Peak Anglofl delusion. Almost everybody in the world knows soccer. A mere fraction of a percent know Anglofl. That's why the Indian Super League is possible. Any attempt to expand to India will fail like China. Fuck you're a moron. A new winner. "If you say it enough it must be true!!!" T...

Re: GWS / SUNS >> How much more dollars

30 million down the drain on gentle gws just this past year. A decade on still no TV audience & fudging crowd numbers. Established teams denied success by draft concessions. This is a disaster however you spin it.

Re: GWS / SUNS >> How much more dollars

AngloFL should've built a war chest. Instead its pissed the proceeds of broadcast rights boom against the wall with failed expansion. Without foxtel these teams won't exist.

Re: AngloFL failed global expansion.. next destination

The Indian super league is a good example of what I was say, and in the country I was suggesting. Originally not a popular sport but money and organisation succeeded. Still money there, and cricket grounds which are mainly profit driven. Don’t think it will or should happen for reasons stated befor...

16,000 watching on TV in Sydney. Ridiculously inflated crowd number. This thing is a bust.

Re: Fight Club - Football TV Ratings

Nobody in stands. Nobody watching at home either. you just had 4 games come in at a toal 43,000 mate - the AFL had a record 5 matches reach 50,000 in a single weekend. I wouldnt talk about nobody being in the stands if I were you - especially after less than 6,000 turned up for a game. You talking ...

Re: AngloFL failed global expansion.. next destination

1. India has no cultural connection to AngloFL. Australians of Indian extraction show no interest. 2. Beaten to punch by soccer which has seen recent boast by creation of Indian super league. 3. Overseas expansion of AngloFL has always failed. How many times thickshit the afl has never tried to exp...

Re: AngloFL failed global expansion.. next destination

Not too sure of the wisdom of the AFL wanting to expand the code overseas. If they were successful in this pursuit, and a growing overseas competition was established, there would be a danger they could loose control of the player market as has happened with soccer. The Toronto wolfpack is a good e...
