Brisbane Bears for me.
Just hope they only consider players who are 100 % fit.

Re: Battle of the Gold Coast
Suns will win, their form at the moment is close to the best it's ever been and they have momentum.
The Lions have a couple of their best players out with injuries and this will cost them.

This is promising as the two local teams will eventually become less and less reliant on the interstate recruiting, having more home grown talent to consider.

NRLW fumbling and bumbling cup live on TV now
Tigers vs bulldogs.
No atmosphere, no passion, no interest, no skill and no crowd.
Woman's sport has just sunk to a new low.
Just how low ? Keep watching.

Re: Battle of the Gold Coast
Suns having their best year ever, and playing the highest drawing team in the comp should have a comfortable win in the crowd stakes.
Sun's could also win on the score board.

Re: Battle of the Gold Coast
The difference between the two teams in terms of popularity is not significant.
The fact that the Sun's draw reasonable to good crowds in RL territory is a great achievement in itself.
Sun's are playing great football this year and the fans keep turning up.
Great win over the Demons.

Re: The progress of the imminent take over of QLD by derpball
Lions total TV viewing figures for the season are far greater than the NRLW figures.
The fumbling bumbling NRLW is basically unwatchable ( especially the Broncos. ) but generates some interest by riding on the coat tails of the SOO brand.
Since the Lions GF win a lot of multi generation ( original ...

Re: Battle of the Gold Coast
Suns are more popular on the Gold Coast.
You have to consider the Suns played Freo, who don't draw big crowds in Queensland.
Suns vs Essendon, Richmond, Carlton or Collingwood etc then no contest, Titans lose.
Titans no chance to beat Suns crowd figures when popular teams come to town.

Re: Battle of the Gold Coast
Titans shouldn't even still exist.
Unofficially they went in to liquidation.
They went bankrupt.
A dirty deal with new owners resulted in hundreds of creditors on the Coast who never saw the millions owed to them.
Disgraceful business practices, they shouldn't be trading.

Seems nobody in the rest of the country cares for Queensland Rugby League.makingnrlfansgowacko wrote: Sat May 31, 2025 12:07 pmmean while in the rest of the country the dolphins, Broncos are outrated by peppa pig
Only popular in their own backyard, pathetic.
It's totally irrelevant in the rest of Australia.

good crowd for the Wooden Spoon Titans
