Just to clarify … 5.3 billion is only for the Australian NRL tv rights.
NZ will add to that in the hundreds of millions

Playing Fremantle in Primetime this year is working a treat..

They are rating very very strongly not just because of being top of the ladder but also their style of play is a joy to watch.

The trouble with the A league is that most of the clubs only appeal to hard core soccer fans and there isn't enough of them to influence the television ratings.
