Wrong, Lebanon, Jamaica, Serbia and a few countries that play in the Balkan super league haven't ever played union, they're playing League now tho. Rugby australia are just too concerned about the wallabies that they have forgotten about grass roots, which is still going strong despite its challenges. They have a massive uphill battle.

South American Pro league (Liga Sul Americana de rugby) confirmed to start in 2020 with 8 teams, 2 from Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, 1 from Chile & Paraguay. Plans will also be in place to have a European cup like tournament with the MLR teams. http://www.americasrugbynews.com/2018/08/22/liga-sul...

really great result considering all the issues leading up to the tournament. Hopefully this will kick start a real push to get get rugby on more tv channels and get USA rugby really get behind the MLR

First MLR team to build their own stadium. Ready for next year. The owners of the DC franchise run an architecture company so expect more to pop up over the years. The comp really is building some strong foundations

yeah and thats why its been able to grow because it has a governing body with Money.

The sevens world cup in San fran this weekend was in trouble because the marketing arm of USA rugby, RIM was broke so world rugby bailed them out and now the tournament has sold over 90k tickets.
