Sadly I feel the heads at the NRL are in a bind as there's only so many ways you can dress up a turd.
They've tried everything to be relevant but failed.
Simply gets back to the product and with only a few small pockets of the country that care about the 'sport' they need to ...

FWIW I think RL does its best given the product they have to work with, but it'll never be as big as the AFL that's obvious I know.
