Re: The progress of the imminent take over of QLD by derpball
once again imagine and reality is worlds apart for you
NRLW... has got the grants covered in Sydney
well
all fumbles & stumbles in NSW & QLD
No no no
That is not quite correct
The NRLW crowd figures for home and away games are absolutely appalling.
Most games draw only ...

Re: Swans tank - crowd walks out at half time!!!!!
Another loss for the hapless hopeless Swans. It seems their unprecedented run being at or near the top of the table is over. It will be fun to watch their supporters drop off as the bandwagon creaks to a stop.
My thoughts and wishes go out to our dear leader beatup on this sad news.

Re: AFL & NRL Footy Crowds - 2025
Hey Sooksie, do any AFL clubs include poker machine revenue in their financial reports pal? Thanks in advance Sooks.
Yes they do. Only 6 clubs still have poker machines.
Carlton, Brisbane have fair sized operations, while St Kilda, Richmond and Essendon have minor ones.
Thanks Sooks. Do ...

Re: AFL chief executive Andrew Dillon tells Darwin to start building for potential team push

Re: AFL chief executive Andrew Dillon tells Darwin to start building for potential team push
The problem is Australia is being propped up by people who are very foreign to Australian Sports
Middle Eastern Asia, Africa.
AFL is tapped out of the big markets for expansion... true Lions and Swans are growing..
But markets for expansion >> are all small markets in terms of every ...

Re: South Sydney Potential Move to Allianz Stadium - Denied
The Homebush stadium should have been bulldozed straight after the Olympics. The place is a shithole and the stadium ain't fit for purpose. Moore park should have been an 80k seater and made Sydney's premier stadium for RL, RU, soccer, GF's, SOO's and all other premium sports events and concerts ...

Re: AFL chief executive Andrew Dillon tells Darwin to start building for potential team push
I think there is some merit to this - I do think, however that Canberra as well as Newcastle - Canberra as it is already a strong Aussie Rules base and crying out for their own team - and Newcastle because it is a large regional area where Rugby League is the dominant game - with a small ...

Whilst I’m not a big fan of Eddie, he does have a strategic mind and some interesting ideas about growing our great game.
How about the always financially struggling North Melbourne relocated, to become the Northern Kangaroos, playing in the Northern Territory and North Queensland?
