Re: AFL chief executive Andrew Dillon tells Darwin to start building for potential team push

Re: AFL chief executive Andrew Dillon tells Darwin to start building for potential team push

Moore park should have been an 80k seater and made Sydney's premier stadium for RL, RU, soccer, GF's, SOO's and all other premium sports events and concerts ...

Re: AFL chief executive Andrew Dillon tells Darwin to start building for potential team push
I think there is some merit to this - I do think, however that Canberra as well as Newcastle - Canberra as it is already a strong Aussie Rules base and crying out for their own team - and Newcastle because it is a large regional area where Rugby League is the dominant game - with a small ...

Re: AFL chief executive Andrew Dillon tells Darwin to start building for potential team push
Whilst I’m not a big fan of Eddie, he does have a strategic mind and some interesting ideas about growing our great game.
How about the always financially struggling North Melbourne relocated, to become the Northern Kangaroos, playing in the Northern Territory and North Queensland?

Yep, an embarrassingly awful crowd for a local NRL derby in the Sydney heartland.
Same needs to be said about St Kilda’s woeful crowds this season.
