Re: The No.1 Football Code in Australia
I read that in Queensland Australian Rules now has more registered participants than Rugby League.
Maybe a bit generous with the figures but it does demonstrate the growth.
Wherever you read it it's BS pal. AFL types don't compare on a apples v apples comparison. Fumbling 'participants' in ...

Re: RUGBY LEAGUE EXPANDING THE GAME
What happens if the English RL does get massive -which it seems to have a base - and starts generating massive revenue - like 100 times it is now - gets up to somewhere near soccer? Not saying it will, but just lets say it gets 10 times bigger - ratings go through roof on a weekly basis, media ...

Re: RUGBY LEAGUE EXPANDING THE GAME
Super League is at another “crisis” point…one of many they have had over the years.
Expanding to 14 is interesting when their “partner” manager IMG thinks the optimum is 12 and the NRL thinks it is 10.
The expansion is risky without first having a new TV deal, and if the new one is not a ...

Re: AFL & NRL Finals Footy TV Ratings - 2025
Fun fact:
The Storm's 734,000 in the Melbourne Oztam metro (which includes Geelong etc) of 5.5 million is 13.4% of the viewing population.
The Lions 456,000 in the Brisbane Oztam metro (which includes Gold Coast etc) of 3.6 million is 12.7%.

Re: Queenslanders will make up 3 of the top 5 in this years AFL draft
AFL is the easiest, lamest, unskilled rabble of a game to learn and play. The poor kids in Qld that make the draft have sadly failed at every other sport and have thankfully taken the easy route to AFL. Thank god for the fumbling game. The player path for failed athletes everywhere. Lololololol!!!
