More massive numbers for the Rugby League World Cup. England v Tonga the number 1 program of the day. Smashing the nightly news, the Everest and the Bledisloe cup. And that is without an Australian team playing.

Incredible numbers for Ch 7. Great investment.

Great numbers for yesterdays 2 games. They were in the top 4 rating programs of the day. One was a ladies game and the other a massive blow out. Ch.7 will be stoked.

The NRL wins round 1 in Chiefs legal battle. In a result that surprised no one with more than half a brain a NZ judge turned down a NZR bid for an urgent injunction to prevent PNG from using the Chiefs moniker.

The very sensible judge said that average sports fans would have no trouble recognising ...

Massive numbers for the first WC game for 2026. Nearly tripled the bledisloe cup game last Saturday. On par with the big semi's in both the NRL and FLA. Great start.

Look, some people can be mature enough to present a counter argument/thought....shutting down discussion with abuse does you no good.

Who are you talking to weakbender?? Or are you just yelling at clouds again lololool!!!!!!!!

NRL seem to stuggle coming up with their own initiatives. At the recent grand final it was not missed that the load speakers played chants from other codes to try and engage the crowd in creating an atmosphere. Along with the sound track was crowd noise which was pretty clear as the recorded chant ...

I support neither NRL or ALF, however as my better half likes NRL I get exposed to it on TV when not out on the boat. I have noted that NRL has one obsession in the media....every commontator I have heard spends more time telling the audience that RL is the greatest game of all and that the crowd ...

A Sydney Roosters win at the NRL Grand Final was massive for Nine, drawing 4.29m viewers in National TV Audience.

1.5m of those were watching on BVOD.

Western Bulldogs vs Collingwood Magpies @MCG

Good crowd, but I would have expected closer to 90,000 with Collingwood playing. Cracker of a game right to the ...

If I ran the Swans they'd be sacked just for that. Obviously if they're found guilty of any criminal offences they'll be gone anyway. Just incredibly dumb behaviour.

Yep, incredibly dumb indeed. Still struggling to come to terms with it all tbh.

Last week was very rough as a Swans fan ...

Hi Terry

If this is about an extra slap only then there has to be questions asked - but think it is much more than that. The issue still remains that players were out drinking, had strippers back in their room, and were doing drugs - which still is a massive issue and what has seen the current ...

Year to date FTA average tv ratings. The NRL wins Thursday, Saturday and Sundays. Yep, 3 outta 4 nights. FLA wins Friday only. And of course once Fox/kayo comes into it it is an absolute mauling by the NRL.

Total FTA ratings for the year:

NRL 63.8M
FLA 51.2M.

Yep. The NRL is 12.6M in front. That ...
