most of the stadiums throughout Europe are around that 55k to 65k capacity. the major stadiums of the NFL seem to be around that 70k capacity also
i once saw a game at the Camp Nou in Barcelona UEFA championship, its capacity is 105k listed but found it far to big and and far from the field ...

If they do upgrade I think they need to bulldoze it and build it somewhere more suitable - easier to get to. Went past it the other day and is a traffic nightmare even without an event on.

its weird why the NRL or the AFL do not release figures way more often..

like it is freely available to them, for example

NRL have done 3 Random Games this year that have rated big
which have a combined FOX AND FTA figure in it..

why not make it public...

it has been Lions big game since its instalment.

expecting a FTA audience of around 50k in Brisbane / Gold Coast markets.

Thought I read somewhere that Suncorp Stadium is not capable of being upgraded to 65k capacity? Would require total knockdown and rebuild?

And do you really think any further major redevelopment is happening for Suncorp Stadium anytime soon, with the current war, cost of living crisis ...
