Re: TV RIGHTS KICK OFF

Interesting analysis and noteworthy that digital sports rights do not come under the anti siphoning legislation to guarantee free to air broadcast of major sports.

what are the costs to get in to a game in Sydney?

i know here in perth its substantially more than Melbourne, basically as the clubs can due to fan bases and stadium size
Concourse level at SCG starting at $65 for adults, $44 for concession for Friday night Swans vs Bulldogs.

SUNDAY FTA FOOTY

NRL 476k
AFL 306k
Split scheduling and overlapping games really needs to be fixed by the AFL on Sundays.

Re: AFL chief executive Andrew Dillon tells Darwin to start building for potential team push

Agree to a point - I could see another tea min south West region of brisbane - Ipswich area. Canberra is obvious. Newcastle is one I think that goes unnoticed - and untapped. Sydney could one day have another team - if they ever sort out the giants fiasco - but a long long way off. And of course ...

Whilst I’m not a big fan of Eddie, he does have a strategic mind and some interesting ideas about growing our great game.

How about the always financially struggling North Melbourne relocated, to become the Northern Kangaroos, playing in the Northern Territory and North Queensland?

Souths Crowds will lift dramatically with move to SFS

Not going to happen now until after the current contract that South’s signed ends in 2030.

In hindsight, it was pretty silly of Souths to sign such a long term contract, especially after knowing Accor Stadium was not going to be ...
