Re: Tassie Devils It Is
Love the name, not such a fan of the state guernsey though. Anyways, the club should be a success, just need the stadium sorted out as the AFL has made it clear… no stadium… no team. Election this weekend will be interesting. Again though off to a good start. https://x.com/fc_tasmania/status/1769663...

Re: GABBA Redevelopment
The independent review that Miles commissioned, and gave former Liberal lord mayor Graham Quirk responsibility to deliver, will seemingly swap one politically tricky mega-project for another. The Gabba rebuild, costed at $2.7 billion, will be portrayed as a poorly considered and difficult-to-delive...

Re: GWS / SUNS >> How much more dollars
GWS need to focus on Western Sydney only and really push local engagement. I have been attending AFL games in Sydney since 1990. I remember really sad looking Swans crowds at the SCG and talk of ending the AFL expansion idea in NSW. A Swans membership base back then of a bit over 3,000. Gees I stil...

Re: Round 1 Crowds
11000 was about right. When it rained, where I had plenty of room in standing room, everyone came up and packed it out. But definetely not empty - dare o say typical crowd for suns 11 to 13 thousand. Not great but okay. When do you think the bandwagon effect will happen up there with this young win...
