Re: Big weekend for WA football.
Yeah anchor. My 2 teams in Sharks and Eagles, always seem to leave the gate open to the opposition no matter how far in front they get. It's just no good for my old heart!! We can't let up for 1 minute this weekend or Claremont will simply roll us into dust.

Re: Soccer v Footy
Three things in life I dare you to do. 1. Watch grass grow 2. Watch paint dry 3. Watch a game of soccer. You may need to break the soccer match up with a bit of grass and paint watching - just to make sure you actually get a bit of excitement!!!!

Yep, they'll be tough, but we have a good record against them lately. But we gotta beat Swans irst and our recent record against them ain't so good.

Re: Port Player Dies in Las Vegas
Horrendous happening. I hope the family have the right of privacy...there's already pretty ordinary stories going around. We, the public don't need to know the nitty gritty. Let them grieve for heavens sake.

Re: Soccer v Footy
I hear ya mate. I can't understand how one is meant to get excited about a soccer game. Boring as bat **** if you ask me with pooncy players all over the field taking dives. The fans riot in the stands because nothing happens on the field. Fancy going to a game to see a 0-0 draw . #-o
Fancy going ...

Re: Swans, Crows not top two: Malthouse
I guess I haven't respected the Crows as much as I should have this year and it cost me tip points in our comp. Still, I reckon the Dockers will give them a fair old touch up this weekend. Be good to hear the opinion of some of the SA and Vic people if you're out there???

Re: Where were you when these events occurred?
1. Man landing on the moon (for the real oldies);
2. Dismissal of the Whitlam Government;
3. Death of Elvis Presley;
4. Death of Princess Diana;
5. Cathy Freeman's gold at Sydney Olympics;
Can you think of any other major events that could be added to this list?

Soccer v Footy
Gotta say it, but I've never been able to figure out the excitement of watching a game of soccer for 1 or 2 hours and nobody scores and if they do, it's usually 1 or 2 each :roll: At least in football and rugby, something happens. Not s canning your game, but just saying that I've never been able to ...

Re: UMPIRING HORRIFIC IN SWANS MATCH!!
I think your a bit harsh on the umps mate. I watched a fair bit of it and even though I'm not a Swans supporter, I wanted them to win. To say it was the worst umpiring display is a big call...there have been worse than that over the year.

Re: Swans, Crows not top two: Malthouse
Mad Mick has it 50% right. Adelaide are up there because of the draw, but Swans deserve to be there. Amazing, they have gone from being bloody boring to bloody exciting!!
