Re: NRL strikes it rich out in the Pilbara
Rubbish!! fifo workers generally work two weeks on one week off, so this increase in population means nothing because the 14 days on are 12 hour days on site with down time in the village so no fifo worker could possibly join a sporting club! I work for rio and the fantastic venue you speak of does ...

Re: The No.1 Football Code In Australia
So around 15%, impressive - almost - its a hand picked match. You havent got an even competition like ours the fade will come, only you'll have further to fall this time. Dude nrl is the most uneven, reactive fixture I have ever seen! Gallop n co wait for our fixtures (afl) then realase theres targ...

Re: NRL Round 1 vs AFL Round 1
Exactly cos thats why i kept the hawks collingwood match as a close game when the hawks won by four goals. This game was still in the balance in the last 10-15mins. Unfortuntely we're talking about the closeness of games cos and 6 goals + simply isnt considered a close game in marngrook. Milznjim y...

Re: What other sport could have produced a cousins?
Not talking about addiction milznjim. You have quite the knack for incorrectly interpreting the conversation dont you milznjim? Talking about being accountable for ones actions. And my evidence is present within all humankind and all societies. If we are not properly held accountable for our action...

Re: NRL Round 1 vs AFL Round 1
NRL had 1 blowout. 2 comfortable victories and 5 close games: The eels broncos match was in the balance with 12 mins left and 6 points is not a comfortable victory by any stretch. AFL had 5 blowouts and four close games. I'm calling the hawks collingwood a close game and winning by atleast 6 goals ...

Re: Free Tickets and discounts galore for Titans game
Dogs, i dont get it! call me a simple west aussie but your arguments seem to change as you go Point 1 - Titans members dont need FREE TICKETS to attend a game so please explain why you stated that the vast majority of tickets were given to them. Point 2 - comparing dogs fans attending an away game t...

Addiction doesn't care if the media knows who it is affecting, so please present one piece of evidence that would support your claim that victims would be better treated for addiction if the entire nation knew!

Re: Free Tickets and discounts galore for Titans game
Dog? "Do some research before posting dribble and before you and all your mates go on about the free tickets again, it has already been noted that a good chunk of the tickets given out were to members" Mate forgive my ignorance but if they were already members why would they need tickets?

should the AFL follow NFL and allow private ownership?
Eddie raised the issue with david hill on EMT tonight would it help bridge the gap between the clubs or make it worse? also what are peoples thoughts on EMT having slater as a guest? Was it AFL charity to our little sister NRL and there fledgeling melbourne expansion or greed in the hope of poaching...

western australia, the forgotten state?
Although new to the code wars, I have been somewhat bemused by pro nswrl people disrespecting my beloved state! On one topic in which the two wa afl clubs huge memberships were reported a nswrl fan replied "wa? who cares" (close to 100,000 just to start) then another topic stated perth &qu...
