Totally not for this - if a star player gets injured or reported - especially a Collingwood player, I will not be happy - and I could not care less who wins to be honest. At least it is not interfering with the home and away - but any significant injury will be a big negative I feel.

I would chirp in and say this. A sell out is different from ground capacity - just means no more tickets available. I think membership may be an issue here with people possibly not turning up - although I would think that was minimal - but I also wonder if seating arrangements are different - I know ...

Yes - I think the AFL went with a "build it and they will come" philosophy - mainly about players getting involved and improving. I guess time will tell - but the damage in these forming years may be too big a hurdle to overcome.

Yeah - there is a partnership that goes both ways - just saying you can't count Touch as RL numbers - cause - as you said - different sports.

People forget that FTA pays a much smaller amount for the rights - majority is paid by Foxtel - who do not show adds when a goal is scored - and value of adds during breaks must be impacted by people doing other things - being the only break for a while.
