Re: Rugby League continues to Lead The Way!

Re: Toronto Wolfpack

Whose going to turn down 10 million for 2 years? Surely player managers would be putting the feelers out?

Re: Rugby League continues to Lead The Way!

Agree with SoO being stand alone - playing teams with their stars out I feel takes away from the NRL competition.

Re: Paul Gallen vs Barry Hall

Can’t believe these two hacks are getting all this publicity and I suspect money!! I’d expect Hall to win ... although it is boxing and judging can be subjective ... a bit like diving or gymnastics ... all depends how a judge sees it.

Re: Paul Gallen vs Barry Hall

I see Gallun is making excuses already. But I particularly liked the one that the fight is in Melbourne where he is hated and where Cronulla are hated. Firstly, most people in a Melbourne wouldn’t have known him prior to this fight ... and most people would not know he played for Cronulla ... and a...

Re: Tassie, here we come....

I think there will be a Tassie team in future and AFL can bank role this easily if need be. And I do think there would be a need. I think for the footprint point of view more than anything.

Re: Bad crowds, lack of interest! But but a success

but there are a lot of people who don't follow rl that watch the SoO. Same with gf of either code - melbourne cup etc. A lot of people who don't follow that sport (and horse racing) will watch and take an interest.

Re: World Cup 2021

Listen, it doesn't really matter in the larger scheme of things -but I thought it went back to grandparents? But either way - you can have a bloke playing for two countries in a short space of time. I think you should have to choose like most other sports - or go through a process. But, in saying th...

Re: World Cup 2021

I have no issue with it really. I’m not obsessive about the nrl or the afl for that matter. I actually think it is a smart move by the governing body to be pretty lax with their eligibility criteria as helps grow the game internationally. But it is pretty lax ... and not sure why whether they play i...
