To enable members to get used to the new tipping competitions for 2007 a pre-season AFL - NAB Cup tipping competition has been established.

Feel free to try out the new features available for this season by having a go in the NAB Cup tipping competition. Please report and bugs you may come across prior to the season proper in the AFL and NRL. Fingers crossed that all is good.

Best of luck to you all. Wink

Well the first games and results for the NAB cup have been entered. One gets 1 point for a correct tip and a bonus point for the match of the round.

Please guys and gals, if you have any feedback you'd like to see implemented for the season proper in the AFL and NRL make it known now during the NAB cup trial run of the tipping competitions. Are people have with how the scoring system works to date?

Yes, well done pickles and match of the round is the Friday night game. Do you think the scoring system on trail thus far is suitable for the season proper?

Yeh sounds good to me, should make it harder for people to tie at the end of the season aswell.

How are do you plan to get more NRL fans to join the NRL comp? theres only 3 atm.

Will think more about how to make it harder for members to tie at the end of the season. Any ideas????

As for the NRL tipping comp, perhaps numbers will spike upwards closer to round 1 kick off. If however, numbers don't pick up, how about all the prize money being put in the AFL comp? Based on previous years experience it appears the AFL tipping comp is much more popular with members here.

For any NRL fans out there yet to register for the NRL tipping comp, speak up now. Feedback now would be most appreciated.
