Not sure what A-League games you're talking about. As far as I know it is merely pre-season with the official first season set to kick off in summer.

I think it's a reflection of the popularity of soccer in Australia generally. Although this sub forum has more posts than the ARU board.

I think the A-League has already proven to be more popular than rugby union. Whilst the FFA has finally got its national competition up and running, the ARU are still in discussion about the potential of such a competition for rugby.

Don't worry MCG, this sub-forum is safe. Activity may pick up now that the footy seasons are just about complete. In its favour like I said above, this sub-forum has more posts than the ARU board.
