Not sure what youre on about. As you know, I averaged the 2017 ladder positions of all NRL clubs scheduled for Thursday and friday night, and on average they were higher that the AFL.

So your mob are even more guilty

Funny thing is the NRL target Fridays with more succesful teams to a greater degree than the AFL, but still get flogged head to head

All your teams? or just the 78% that actually play?

you give a token game to your worst teams then play your top teams for the rest of the season

Using your ladder theory wouldn't those 4 token teams equate to 60+.

Yes. Which shows how most of the remaining games involve mainly the top sides. Where as the AFL might not show the 3 worst teams but their games are fairly evenly spread through the teams at different positions on the ladder

The AFL don't show there 4 (22%) worst rating sides in the major timeslots where as the NRL show all there teams in these timeslots. That's just a fact! No matter how much you want to sugar coat it or Mc square it.
And as you can see by the article poor ratings is very concerning to the AFL.

The unevenness of your competition is a totally separate matter. One that has been made very clear in the past. Most of your matches are over by half time or soon after. The NRL competition has teams that finished last year in 11th and 9th position both undefeated and leading the comp and our 2nd placed side finished 14 th last year.

FMD your comprehension skills are poor! Lets go through this one more time, in step by step fashion, to see if you can finally comprehend:

1. I agree we dont show our 3 worst teams in our premium fixtures (Carlton was our 15th side last year and have FN games)

2. The NRL show their worst performing sides in their premium fixtures, but on examination this is rare

3. on balance though, the AFL share their premium fixtures fairly evenly amongst their best 14 sides, coming up with an average ladder position for these games of over 7, i.e. weighted towards the top of the ladder teams but not by much

4. the NRL also share their premium fixtures amongst teams on the ladder but their average is less than 7 for Friday games. This means, despite showing their worst teams on one or two occasions for the season, they weight their Friday games towards the better performing sides even more than the AFL do.

So your point, and this thread are backfiring massively because it highlights that the NRL do this more than the AFL. :)))

You keep saying you don't show 3 games. You don't show 4 . Meaning you show just 78% of your teams in the major timeslots.

Everybody would no that sides like Collingwood and Carlton, despite there poor ladder position are two of the AFL's best supported clubs and as such are included 3 or 4 times each in the major time slots.

All NRL clubs get at least 1 game, Something the AFL cant say.

Stuff this Ladder positions theory...

THE AFL pick there best supported sides Tv ratings wise to be on Friday Nights (full stop)

NlolRL going on your theory

the TOP 3 SIDES IN MELBOURNE MISSED THE 8 last year>> HAWKS PIES AND BOMBERS>>

but no matter what the AFL will schedule them in the Premium timeslots (FRIDAY)

bombers made the 8 last year.

My point is, giving a single Friday night game to your bottom few sides doesnt mean shit when the rest of your games involve all the best teams. The AFL may not use Friday night for the cellar dwellers but they have a more even schedule for the remaining 14 sides. Pussycat just cant seem to grasp this concept.
