again, stop avoiding the question, why does it matter?
Are you the full quid .
This is a fight club
As A RL fan I will highlight the delusions of the afl fans

No matter what it is they can't accept in some ares Rl is better .

Hence why I started this thread .
In the past they have maintained that the afl is a far closer comp
Even when it's pointed out how absurd that claim is they still can't admit that the AFL loses out in anything .
I agree with you the NRL is a closer comp, and as RL fans it must be nice to have your side within a few scores from the lead for most of the game. But personally I find a higher scoring game more exciting, and lower scoring games too boring. RL to me is too defensive with too few highlights, and soccer is even worse, dreadful to watch.

So it's all about what you're used to. Yes Aussie rules comps can be more predictable and one-sided, but for me that's a minor disadvantage for a far more interesting sport

Stands to reason I guess, with soccer being the most popular sport in the world and Rugby League being the most popular sport in Australia

And here with, the simplicity, the shallowness of an afl supporter.

Quite pathetic really. Clearly he prefers instant gratification, goals! And lots of em. He enjoys this much more than a closely fought contest or even the full game itself  perhaps he should just watch the highlights...

Kinda like a juvenile, the toddler who enjoys the game of hungry hungry hippos above chess.

What a great start to the NRL season .
Teams expected to prop up the ladder are beating the favourites week after week .

The bookies outsiders in the betting are in the top four ( except tits)
& favs are down the bottom .

Great close season coming up

Stick to the topic .

Which comp is more even
Please clear this up for me Crap.
In your own words....
What, precisely, constitutes an even comp?

There is far too much ambiguity in even.
Spell it out sunshine?

All 8 NRL matches were very much alive at half time. 6 could have gone either way with 5 to go and 4 of those went down to the final minute, 3 the final second.

And that is pretty much the norm

If closer games appeal to fans why did 2 nrl games today get a crowd of 15k COMBINED?

You mean the two games that were watched by nearly half a million people on PTV while Australia was winning Gold, Gold, Gold and more Gold in the swimming?
