Surprised? You and many AFL fans have suggested AFLX is rubbish. Yet still on a secondary channel in Melbourne, AFLX rated just as good as the NRL Premiers and local team in a World Club Challenge broadcast live on the primary channel. Add the Melbourne FOX tv audience of
75,000 and well... Eek.

Thu NRL FTA - Dragons v Broncos 512k (Metro only), down 6% from 545,000 from last seasons Sharks/Broncos opener.
Thu NRL STV - Dragons v Broncos 261,000 (up 13% from 231,000 from last seasons Sharks/Broncos opener)
FTA Metro slightly down

will squeeze past 1mil after regionals. Nothing to crow about given its the season opener with the city of Brisbane watching
