RLWC ratings

Now that all the negative RL articles have been produced by the usual suspects it is now time to focus on the RLWC and more specifically the TV ratings it will generate.

Keep in mind that RL has already won the ratings battle for the year over the Australian Fumbling League - and that was done with 50 less games counted in the total. Congratulations RL. So every ratings number for the WC will only increase the win to the good 'ol girl!!!

The opening game is live on Ch 7 tonight from 7.30pm. So what's the predictions? What will the golden ratings number be? How much will RL forge further ahead of the fumbling game by the time the tournament is over? All great questions!!

(Fumblers: you won't feel comfortable reading this thread. Please ignore it if you are going to get into the goldfish bowl with your mindless rants. Thanks fellas and have a great summer.)

Fumbling League? Tell me, which competition introduce a dimpled ball surface to improve grip and reduce fumbling?

Gloves are rarely used ... some forwards have used them but take the. Off to kick. Very rare these days ... whereas a dimples ball is used by everyone.

AFL players should use gloves, dimpled balls, nets, anything at all. The game is a fumbling mess. Anything that would help clean up the rabble should be used.

But back to the actual thread Freddy - what do ya reckon the ratings will be for tonight's blockbuster RLWC game??
