To say that the Aussie were disappointing during the ODIs in India would be an understatement. Our batting was dismal other than a few individual performances. Far to many clumps of wickets lost.They were never able to get middle order partnerships going.Why oh why would they have tried to make Hilton Cartwright an opener.
The bowling never looked like being able to bowl the Indians out or put constant pressure on them.
A very disappointing series.Let us hope that we can do better in the T 20 starting today.
Good to see Tim Paine get his chance once again as keeper.He was without doubt the best we had before he broke his finger.I feel he could still be the best,Hopefully he can have a run of good form.
Steve Smith has been flown back home after suffering a shoulder injury from the last ODI.
