I guess you would have to ask what would be appropriate to balance up the disadvantages of being a new team in a non traditional area otherwise you have a compromised or biased comp in the other direction. Without afl support gws would fold so there would be no point setting them up without such support. It's a vexed question. I guess once they make a decision to have a team there to grow the game in what is afl wasteland they have to put in supports.

A new team should get plenty of off field help .no probs there

I think you'll see concessions around salary cap and player numbers etc. I don't think they have a draft in the nrl do they ? They may get things like concessions for wa based players or players that haven't played and being developed being on a special rookie list type thing. Either way I think there will be things they get that other clubs don't. But you may be right re finances as the nrl just don't have the same level of cash as the afl do.

The team will be filled of Players from NSW or Qld tin by a wealthy investor who will eventually crack the shits and end up turning the money tap off or a poke filled leagues club! But it will have to be a club from nsw or Qld as you won’t find pokes out side of the casino due to government legislation there!
