Remember last years finals series? From memory in nearly every game the AFL totally flogged the Nrlol!

And the finals series is just around the corner again
it was every single final. The AFL consistently outrates the NRL week in week out. Scheduling is the only reason the totals come close

Yes agree The League game finishes about 40 minutes earlier so I would expect similar . Maybe not the GF though.

Stats dont lie. Game v game we win the vast majority of times
they dont like answering that
this finals series shall be a belter ratings wise for the AFL! a month of endless but buts from them
Dear oh dear oh dear!!! "they don't like answering that". How many times have I addressed this issue. Back into the goldfish bowl we go again. This is insanity by the fumblers. What the hell is your problem fumblers. This has been answered over and over again. Yet they say again, "they don't like answering that". WTF.

Can any of you oaf's remember the numerous times I have used the analogy about Coles. It goes like this: if Coles sells more oranges on Friday than Woolies but over the week, month, year Woolies sells more oranges than Coles then Woolies is the winner of oranges sold. Very, very simple stuff. Over a year more people watch RL. Last year - fact. This year will do again.

How many more times do I have to repeat this?????
you can repeat the dribble all you want terry

isnt it funny a a basic comparison games at similar times the AFL flogs the NRLOL look at last finals series and look at this up and coming finals series :)))
the AFL dominated last and will dominate again!

I think we shouldn't reply to anything the missing link says. Ignore his posts and move on. Don't get sucked in. Don't take the bait. Actually I think every time he post's we should all respond by saying, "Missing link, move on". And nothing else, zero, zilch and naught.

The AFL fans would like to but the NRLol fans don't, for obvious reasons

Yep Essendon has a few players out injured at the moment so it gives them an extra week to recover! As well as it gives afl fans an extra week to reflect over last years afl vs nrl finals series Rv ratings

No. Not at all. I think the whole finals series is stupid anyway. The team that finishes top at end of home and away is the best side. Like how mostly soccer do it. If they have to have a final do a 3 game 1 v 2. The dogs were clearly not the best side last year. They were at best around average . They had a run of four games which any team can have throughout the season. Add in this week break and it just compromises it further. No loner the team that staggers of the finish line after a long season. I would like to see one team, the favourite, all come down with the flu or something where 6 or 7 players have to pull out the week prior to show up what a farce the gf is.

Best they just have an fa cup style thing at the end of season where all teams compete knock out style ... celerbrate the best team that finishes top.

you state some good points>>

I don't think will ever see the finals system change
W.B were definitely not the best team last year.
scrapped into the 8 and like you said went on a good run.

be interesting to see two comps throughout the year.
but the 2 codes are to physical to have to many games.
