If the game is within 4pts of each other at the 80th min

I'm predicting a 4.0mill figure
(hard to know now with Digital Media)

If Thurston was playing and will only ever be a "IF"

we would be talking Highest rating game ever..
getting your excuses ready early I see

no excuses what so ever..

I stated if it is close my prediction is 4mill..
if its not close it may fall short of that figure

I than stated if Thurston was playing..
(one of the best to play the game)

In what would of been his final REP Game Appearance

This game could of been A RECORD>>>>>> :thumbleft:

could have, would have, should have

Youre approaching raiderdave's posting. I remember he was boasting how the NRL planned to get to 20k crowd average by 202 BEFORE they go even there. Since then their crowds have gone backwards

Instead of trying to talk down a game that is going to rate somewhere between 3.6M to 4M, which is ridiculous, can you explain why last weeks AFL round had 2.49 million less viewers than your best round of the year???

You think more RL fans would tune in fpr a single player? Its like me saying more people would have tuned into the GF last year if Buddy was playing.

no not always.. but in this case yes..

Thurston is considered the greatest player ever...

it would added extra hype to the amazing concept

they call Origin

and I will give you example.
when SHANE WARNE retired from cricket..

we saw the biggest crowds and tv figures for the ashes that year..
those extra sporting fans wanted that one last glipse at a LEGEND !! of the GAME
