The emails show the AFL has repeatedly asked to meet Heritier but he has declined to respond. So they turned up at an event to meet him, then he claims he has never met any AFL official. I think the article confirms Heritier is a massive sook looking for publicity and sympathy after his AFL career fizzled

He probably realises he was just wasting his time. They will only cover this up like everything else. By the time there finished with him heritier would be the one at fault, just like Goodes or the girl that reported her ex for steroid use. The bloke that was avoiding the drug tester with his coaches help.

Heritier should have been more aware of the AFL's 'one white parent rule' in the first place

I think neither of his parents are white Caucasian ? Being Brazilian heritage I'm not sure what that is considered.

Never stops the amount of racist incidents in AFL. Happens every season.
Then again the sport is 99% white, so would you expect anything less..
Does not have the appeal that rugby codes have with Pacific Islanders.
No team in the AFL has a multicultural fanbase like the Canterbury Bulldogs or Western Sydney Wanderers either.

its pretty hard for the sport to be 99% white when 10% are indigenous
